Teledyne Continental New Cylinders
Factory new steel cylinders are base hardened to a high level and then TCM adds an even harder nitride layer deep enough to re-bore 0.010 oversize. All TCM cylinders are made from 4140 aircraft quality steel. TCM goes the extra step of providing a manganese phosphate coating to help resist rust formation during the initial hours of operation. Beyond these valuable features, a computer controlled two-step hone pattern helps keep oil on the cylinder walls while providing quick consistent break-in. TCM sand-cast heads benefit from updates to proven casting technology with outstanding mechanical and cooling properties.
Note: 0200, 0300 & GO300 require piston pins. All models require rocker shafts.
